some more references.

 

starting on a final concept for one of the characters, so for iv done a quick grey painting then mapped out where the weapon will go. I put the lines on to get prospective so I could get the weapon looking like in part of the 3D space, also put a shadow in to give the character some wait (so it doesn't look its in thin air)

 Iv thought about using the blue print design for some of the weapons... i think it would look really cool an it would allow you to see how the weapons work ect... and they look really good as concept sheets.

 some research/ references for the female characters

 one of the character has some kind of beak mask so i thought this would be a good reference.

 some gun designs for the characters, I will pick the best design to draw 3D look of the gun then apply it to the character its for.

Theres big powerful guns, small guns, snipers, weird guns, knifes, throwing weapons, spades.

 i started to try a 3D drawing here but some of the angles are wrong.

A quick coloured up to show what colours they would be.

Iv gone over the costumes so they look finer, nust need to colour ten now.

Drew up some costume ideas for male characters, after colouring these up i will pick some of my best designs an do a detailed up concept of them

 some work sheets iv done for research and to start to design the alternative miss world game.
i found doing the work sheets on photoshop instead of a sketch book really easy and helpful as there was no need for printing pictures out, i could just drag them to the page which saves alot of time, also i had everything in front of me so the work flow was better.

For the project I'm going to come up with a game. I want the game to be 3rd person because Alternative Miss World is about the look/ costumes and having fun so I think it would be better so see the characters in the weird an wacky costumes. In the game I want to try an take most of the competition out an just leaving the fun parts so the person playing the game would have the enjoyment of playing the game but without the frustration and anger of losing ect...

 My idea is making it a 3rd person shooter and flipping it on its head.
 Some of the characters in the game will be based on the Alternative Miss World contestants.

My idea for the back story for the game is its based in a parallel wold where the people have complete freedom, so some of the maps you will be playing in you will see some familiar buildings, which i think will be pertty cool.
