this is the kind of thing im thinking about.. some kind of comic style cartoon, and mixed with some photography! iv found an artist jim connolly who does loads of comics and comic stye sketches ect.. i really like his work, he used allot of bright colours in his work witch is kinda what im wanting..

i like all the colours on these poster an think they really stand out! but iv got an idea of some sort of cartoon type poster.. or a mix of drawing and photography!

i have chosen two paintings from a rakes progress to base my poster on. one taking place at rose tavern where tom is surrounded my prostitutes, and the other one is when tom is in the mental asylum. I might only use one in the end but these are the ones i like the most an think they could make good posters. there's alot going on in these two paintings an some really strong characters so i think they will be best and i already have some ideas for the poster...

A Rakes Progress poster.

 this is a cast of my face using modroc layered up on some cling film, we got in pairs and cast each others faces... it would be pretty hard to do it on your own. im going to make it into some sort of monster mask, layering it up so bits stick out and it should look good.

did some body casting in pairs using plaster, first raping the person in cling film (or in my pairs case bin bags) and then covering some netting material into the plaster then quickly putting it on before it drys. its my turn next to be cast an i dont know how i feel about it, not being able to move... should be fun!!
